Eat For Your Bloodtype Workshop

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

This workshop is based on the book and theory “Eat for your bloodtype” written by Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo.  This “ Let Food Be Thee Medicine” perception claims that your ABO blood type dictates your ideal diet. It suggests that consuming foods compatible with your blood type based on ancestral eating patterns and how your blood reacts to certain foods can help you build a personalized, evidence-based plan tailored to your lifestyle and individual body needs. This workshop takes this overwhelming or new concept and simplifies it into everyday principles and understanding, while helping the Participant with tools to customize meal plans and ideas through food lists and work sheets.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Basic understanding of Blood types and their need for certain nutrients from food while eliminating others that could be causing immune and inflammation responses.

  2. An overall summary of  your blood type and how to use the book as a baseline of combating health risks, lifestyle strategies and emotional equalizers.

  3. You will leave with Individualized Dietary Guidelines and simple meal planning and recipes to get you started.

MATERIALS NEEDED

  1. Knowledge of your BloodType * see teacher for information if unknown

  2. A notebook, pen or pencil

  3. Owning the book is not required but suggested for future reference

CLASS INFORMATION

This class will be a two hour workshop with a 15 minute break. You will leave with worksheets on meal planning for a two tier diet, lifestyle strategies, herb and vitamin list for your blood type.

Sunday, August 9th 5-7pm

Cost: $40.00   * Attendance Online is possible for this class
