Jump into spring with a new yoga practice! Start preparing for those active outdoor months with the stretching and strength building benefits a new yoga practice can bring.
Since the hardest part of yoga can be walking in the door for the very first time, this yoga flow series will ease the way with small classes, lots of time for questions, and gentle, encouraging teaching. You can develop poses to fit your body and your breath as you learn the basics of posture alignment and breathing awareness. We will support you through this six week beginners series, discovering strong and calm thoughts, healthy bodies, and happy souls.
This class would also be great for someone who has been away from their practice for a length of time for any reason. We look forward to meeting you and sharing in your practice!
This class series runs for six Mondays...
March 25, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Class time: 6-7pm
You must register for all 6 weeks. Investment is $60.
About the instructor, Cheryl Hoffman RYT
A desire to move breath by breath with joy, flexibility, and strength motivates Cheryl's flow yoga practice. These qualities motivate her teaching as well. She teaches yoga flow classes focusing on what each student can do, so every person can find satisfaction in movement. Join her on the mat to practice mind-body awareness that can blossom into a sense of well being. Since 2000 she has taught centered riding. In 2016 she became a certified Yoga Alliance teacher, based on the Ashtanga tradition. She teaches yoga basics at The Studio Wednesday evenings. When she’s not here, she is teaching yoga (or riding!) outside with the horses at nearby stables, bringing mindful movement to equestrians and anyone else who wishes to come!
