When it comes to peas, lentils, wheat, rye, and all the rest, figuring out whether to leave them behind forever or eat with abandon can be a tough decision. If you have ever wanted to know why some grains and legumes end up on the not-so-good list and others are touted for their nutritional goodness, this is the workshop for you! 

This workshop is Part One of the four-part workshop series where we'll sort food fact from fiction. Discover what choices will make you look and feel your best. Practical handouts, recipes, and lots of laughs included. The fun goes from 6:00 - 7:30pm, with time built in for your questions.

Kali Sink is the founder of Modern Heirloom Nutrition, a consulting practice that specializes in all things digestion and gut health.  Inspired by her experience in treating her husband’s autoimmune disease with dietary intervention, she decided to return to school to formally study holistic nutrition.  Kali uses her knowledge to help clients pinpoint the root causes of their symptoms and address these with effective and sustainable dietary changes. @modernheirloomnutrition

Erin Minehart is the founder of Nourishing Roots Nutrition where she specializes in holistic nutrition, herbal medicine and healthy lifestyle practices.  She has been working in her community educating and consulting people about health and wellness for over 15 years. It is her passion to share with clients the tools they need to regain their own health and sense of well being. @nourishingroots

Kali and Erin met in 2008 and quickly bonded over their shared passion for ancestral nutrition and a holistic lifestyle.  For four years, they worked together making natural herbal body-care products that they sold throughout the seacoast at farmers’ markets and in local shops.  They finally made their “eventually” dream of opening a nutrition practice together come true in the fall of 2017, when they formally established Heirloom Nutrition Collective in Portsmouth, NH.
